Krome is a beautifull synth from the well known Korg Brand.
When I decided to buy it, I did not known that an existing hidden feature allowed you to upload «new samples» to your synth. So, reading forums, I realized that Korg Resellers may have a Korg tool to customize Krome in some other countries.
The «famous» makeoptionpcm.exe program as seen in a youtube video could not be found to download...
This tool is used to generate a «sample pack» made by 2 files : META.IMG / SAMPLE.IMG that were absolutely unknown by people since few weeks ago when I decided to study theses files by «reverse-engeenering» them.
The structure of theses files is not completely known and managed but I am quite happy with the current result.
It takes time...much time...so, everybody interested in my work should be patient and have a coffee!
