Krome News : August 2014

Dear Kromeheaveners,

I hope that your krome is started with our sounds loaded into it ! Not yet ? Ok, it's time to go to the sounds section !!!

Here are few news to share everywhere you are : facebook, twitter, tumblr, forums, etc...as I know that I have many readers from foreign countries : I am french but I decided to make the website in english only for this reason !

Kromatool News

With kromatool 0.7.0, I am now able to merge meta/sample but only for 2 complete packs...Someone called "Patrick" has asked me to implement a selective merge : You choose the samples you want in a pack and in the other, then you create a new pack of samples with the result...

In fact, it's far more difficult to implement, for the waveform part of the meta (addresses to compute, samples to skip, etc...). It will take time, but why not, after all the things I've to do !

(If you want to help me on kromeheaven : postulate !!!)

Others Kromatool suggestions (I've received many mail !) :

• Release kromatool old versions : I am thinking in releasing a light version of kromatool : Only with meta/sample study option (no KSC/KMP/KSF handling)
• Some people are asking functions for Korg PA arrangers : sorry, I dont know the format used and I do not have one of these keyboards to test!
• Same thing  with Kromatool compatibility with Kross : I think it's possible, but I do not have a keyboard to test on it.

If you really want me to work on new keyboards and unleash its power :) You just have to crowd fund me !!!

Spirit of India preview

As I could not find an Indian demonstrator, I only made a "fast" and "bad" preview of our pack "Spirit of India" made with sounds provided by Baskar Raj !

If you can record video and sound (Krome recorded in an audio interface), you are still welcome to help me!

New sound packs, soon ?

There are many possibilities for the futur :

• A pack with Kross official patches for Krome ! (I am working on a feature to automatise the convert process...since it is normally not possible...)
• Chariots of fire combi (as said before)
• Kashmir combi (asked by someone on kromeheaven)
• A new typical romanian/serbian pack (2 men contact me in facebook, and I am sorry that I still do not have answered your ask !) ?
• An ethnic sound pack (didgeridoo, asian sounds...) ? (someone is asking that ;))
• A new waveform pack (more than 300 little sized samples) to make vintage sounds.
• JS Kawa mini pack (sounds from its tutorials)
• The first Kromeheaven commercial pack ?

Progressive Leader Collection for Krome is coming !

Dear All,

just a little word to give you the information : Rustem Y. (from Korg Ukraine) sent to me his personal pack of "Progressive Leads" for Korg Krome !

Just expect this great piece of work soon ! (Just the time to check, package, upload, etc...)
