Hello, did you listen to the Tango samples that will be available for our Krome synth?
Well, just watch the video demonstration (below) : The sounds look incredibles. We expect them soon ! (I'm very found of Gotan project music : electronic tango that mixes sounds ;) )
A recent contact told me this : "We are not planning to sell them but to give free access."

Combi contest : Entries !
Dear Kromeheaveners,
Here are the 3 first entries for the Famous song Combi contest !
Hans Bes was the first to send us its participation then PHC and finally KromeAddict !
The contest is open to everybody, so do not hesitate : Send us your favorite song Combi, with a demonstration (SNG or mp3...) showing the song playing.
At first, you will only be able to preview the sound (during entry phase), then you will be able to download each combi to test them on your krome !

Tabla Samples for Krome !

The tabla (or tabl, tabla) (Hindi: तबला, Bengali: তবলা, Urdu: طبلہ, Arabic: طبل، طبلة, Persian: طبل) is a membranophone percussion instrument (similar to their Latin-American/Afro-Cuban relatives bongos), which are often used in Hindustani classical music, invented by the Sufi Amir Khusro.
It is still used in the music behind folk and sufi poetry.
It later became a part of Hindustani music industry. The instrument consists of a pair of hand drums of contrasting sizes and timbres.

Originally created for kronos by synthkeywizard, this is a single conversion for your korg krome.
Indian samples are not simple to find on the internet, so, enjoy this piece of work.
I do not have time to make drum pattern using the tabla samples, but if you do, please share them with us !

At the end of the entry period (see deadline below), krome combinations will be voted on by users . Beware, this time 2 points will be taken into account : The votes but also the number of downloads . Indeed, in the last competition , the popularity of the second participant was higher on the number of download ... This means that some have evaluated without downloading sounds, so without testing !

Genuino Tango Argentino Samples for Krome !

It is a very impressive demonstration from Angel Diego Merlo.

Here are the results of the kromeheaven sound contest !
After a great fight between our voters, we are happy to announce that the winner is :

Ta da ! Here is the beast :
Killer Organ is a concept released by Dan in 2007 on Karma-Lab forum.
Dan wanted to create a Real Organ using Korg M3, so he created a tone wheel sound and used it to simulate the drawbars.
He assigned a special Organ Fx with many useful controls. Krome Killer Organ is a real organ emulator optimized to work perfectly in the limit of polyphony, having all the controls that are needed for real expressive organ player:
- Click On/Off button,
- Rotary speaker Fast/Slow/Brake,
- Organ Vibrato-Chorus Type and Level,
- Overdrive On/Off,
- Spring level and also some cool groove generated by arpegiattors and drum tracks to create a song or to practice easier.
This Killer organ pack is now fully compatible with your Krome.
So to sum up : Optimized with 2 programs only, and combinations made entirely with them ! What a great approach, I am already convinced !
