It's time to power your korg krome again ! House is here !!!
Korg offers us a new sound pack made in collaboration with SampleMagic.

Ok that's look fine, what's in the package ?
Samples ! yeah, from 2 differents Sample Magic pack : Progressive house 2 and East Coast House.
Total of 27 samples recorded in stereo and converted in the Korg Krome format.
Note that, it's just a little part of the original pack you can buy on Sample Magic website.
The interesting part is that these samples were integrated with others programmed sound on the krome. So you will also find 64 program in the custom F program bank.

Let's Test by ourselves
Well, I'm pretty satisfied by the overall quality of the pack. The samples are good but, finally they take just a little part of the pack.To be clear, only two drum kits comes with sample integrated in them : Just few key/note are available to launch the samples/loops, individually. The rest of the programmed sounds are good, so that we forget that it's a "sample based pack" : Bass, piano, hits, pads...everything you need is here to make your "House" music. We would have just loved that Korg and SampleMagic integrate more samples, more loops, more exotic sounds in this pack. Korg Krome can do it...Unfortunatly, if you want more sample from SampleMagic, you can buy them but you can't load them directly. It's complicated but, you can ask me to generate your samples for your favorite synth and fully enjoy it. A partnership kromeheaven/SampleMagic would be a great thing to share free "samples" here...Do you agree ?
We all wait for this great korg krome feature : "Direct Load wav" on your krome...Wait and see !
